Justin grew up in Churchville, PA, a small town in Bucks County. He was drawn to making music from childhood, starting with the piano when he could barely reach the keys. In concert, he has also been known to play trombone, pennywhistle, mallet percussion, guitar, melodica, and drums, though admittedly not all at once. He sings, too.
Playing an outdoor concert at Walk a Crooked Mile in Mt. Airy
Justin teaches middle school mathematics at Abington Friends School, and he was briefly "internet famous" for this video. He lives outside of Philadelphia with his wife and daughter, lots of books, a few plants, and a collection of musical instruments from all over the world, some of which he can actually play.
